Studer A807 half-inch: This A807 is a 4 track record/replay version but is fitted with TWO track HALF-INCH heads and tape transport rollers. It has had low use as a archive transfer machine.
Half-inch tape offers what is probably considered the highest audio quality possible from a 2 track (stereo) reel-to-reel machine. Changing the machine to a quarter inch model is fairly easy as the headblocks and rollers for the A807 are quite common. Four track heads can be sourced too.
It is being sold as seen with the hubs, and trolley and is located in north London.
